Lullaby represents typical for Russian culture hanging cradle, in tradition of Orthodox Church there is a believe that if a baby sleeps under the ground it is protected by the heaven, so until these objects are hanging they are protected. At the same time word Lullaby derives from from "Lilith-Abi" (Hebrew for "Lilith, begone"). In the Jewish tradition, Lilith was a demon who would steal children's souls in the night. To protect the children from Lilith, Jewish mothers would hang four amulets on nursery walls with the inscription "Lilith – abei" ("Lilith – begone")
